For nearly two decades and a thousand consecutive episodes, Christ the Center has carried confessional Reformed theology into homes, churches, and seminaries around the world. On February 19–20, 2027, we are gathering the theologians, partners, and listeners behind that work to Austin: two days of on-stage interviews, a celebration banquet, and the live recording of the 1,000th episode.
Why This Gathering
A thousand consecutive episodes for nearly two decades.
A thousand episodes have come, by God’s kindness, through a glad and collaborative labor: theologians, pastors, scholars, and friends gathering, again and again, to talk about the things of the Lord, about Christ crucified and raised for sinners. We would love to gather in person to give thanks and to celebrate.
It is listeners who tuned in faithfully, week after week. It is, taken together, a body of work that has become genuinely global in reach.
On February 19–20, we will come together for a summit of on-stage conversation, a celebration banquet, and the live recording of the 1,000th episode, in the room with many of the people who made it possible.
We are attempting something special by doing what we do best: learning theology and encouraging one another through conversation. For two days, we hope to reproduce that in person, gathering friends from around the world who are united by the same Reformed confessions, to build one another up. We have always strived to take a posture that is theologically substantive, warm, and free of extravagance, and the weekend is built to reflect that: serious conversation, careful hospitality, and a room that feels like the ministry itself.
